Return and Refund Policy

At Code Book Shop (CodeBookShop.com) we want you to have the right code book for your job. If something is not right, here is how returns work.

How Long You Have
You can request a return within 30 days of the date your order was delivered.

What Can Be Returned
Books must be returned new and unused — no writing, highlighting, applied index tabs, or other wear — together with your order number as proof of purchase.

Starting a Return
Email support@codebookshop.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We will reply with return instructions. Please contact us before sending anything back; unannounced returns may be delayed.

Who Pays Return Shipping
Return shipping is paid by the customer, except when we sent a damaged, defective or incorrect item. In that case we will cover the return shipping or send a replacement at no charge.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Please check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem, and we will make it right.

Your Refund
When your return arrives, we inspect it and email you to confirm whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of the return reaching us. Your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to show the credit.

Cancelling an Order
You can cancel free of charge any time before your order ships by emailing support@codebookshop.com. After it ships, the order can no longer be cancelled, but it can be returned under this policy.
